Feels…
like the warmth of a truly caring hug… you know the kind where can really feel their energy and support
like the spark of a bright light that shines through this space… you know the kind where you have that sudden “ah HA” moment of understanding
like the safety of that friend and confidante….. you know the one that you don’t always talk to but that you think of the minute you need to share something sacred
like a movie that I can put in slow motion, rewind, or fast forward…. you know the feeling of having control and making your own choices based on what’s important to you
like the love and gratitude of a young child that sees you walk in the room and on impulse wraps their arm around you “just because” ….
and well… you just know

What a great idea to think about our writing space like this! Although, for me — writing at the dining room table while my son makes slime for the science fair… I just have to laugh.
