I Never….

Day #28 #SOL17  slice-of-life_individual

I was right!  This was harder than it looks.

I’ve Never ……

I’ve never given birth to a boy

I’ve never been to Australia

I’ve never read a graphic novel

I’ve never eaten at “Steak and Shake”

I’ve never owned a camper

I’ve never used a baby monitor

I’ve never taught high school

“Whew”

  1. Interesting! I’ve done three of those things – given birth to a boy, read a graphic novel, taught high school. I’ve also used a baby monitor while babysitting my great nephew, but not with my own kids, so I didn’t count that.

  2. Love it – I lost 4 – boy, graphic novel (El Deafo – a great middle grades read by CeCe Bell about a hearing impaired girls who likens herself to a superhero), Steak & Shake, and baby monitor…. it IS harder than it looks! Thanks for slicing by the numbers!

  3. I have to try this! What a fun topic to write about! I have never been to Australia either and really want to go. It’s On my bucket list. My husband is a big comic book/graphic novel guy and is always trying to get me to read them. I just haven’t been able to do it yet. Maybe someday.

  4. I felt the same way when I did this! It was much harder than I thought it would be! Now, being on this side of the writing (as the reader), I understand how truly informative it is about you, the writer! I love it! And we have a few things in common…I’ve never eaten at a Steak and Shake either, but it sounds yummy! Thanks so much for sharing!

  5. I love that you mentioned Steak and Shake. When we used to drive cross country with our sons we would stop as often as possible because once we hit the East coast…no more Steak and Shakes. Then one day they opened one IN MANHATTAN! Blew me away. Of course I have only eaten there once. Just not the same as seeing it on the Interstate signs!
