Transitioning

slice-of-life_individualDay #6   #Sol17

There is comfort in going back to my routines

Seeing the children again and communing with colleagues

There is comfort in having a purpose that is more defined

Solving problems and feeling needed

Yet I feel a sadness for loosing the freedom to follow passions

Taking spontaneous day trips

Sleeping in

Spoiling grandchildren

Having long luxurious lunches

  1. The end of break is always bittersweet–enjoying the relationships and purposeful activity yet lamenting the loss of unstructured time. You capture that in this post. Hope you have a wonderful week!
