Do we give up on a boy that’s only seven years old?
Little feet stomping and a frown on his face
Fists clenched, papers ripped and thrown into space
“I hate you” screamed and shouted so loud
A young child, only seven
But has seen more than I
How do I help him
Find the beautiful boy still inside
A Good Boy and Bold
How does he fight against what he’s been told
You’re Ugly, Stupid and Bad to the bone
And become what he’s meant to be
with intelligence and kindness not cold
He needs someone to tell him and fight for his rights,
to give him the chance to know that he can be good
Do we give up on a boy that is only seven years old?
